Luciano Trasporti srl has recently adopted the Organizational Model pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001 regarding corporate liability for the commission of crimes.

The so-called “administrative” liability of corporations is in addition to that of the individual who actually committed the crime, and both are subject to investigation during the same proceedings before a criminal court.

In light of this risk and to protect the company and all stakeholders who come into contact with it, it was therefore decided to adopt an organizational model that, through a series of internal procedures, can prevent this risk.

Whistleblowing
Whistleblowing is a fundamental tool for corporate compliance, through which employees or third parties can report, confidentially and securely, any violations they encounter in the course of their work.

This refers to the process for reporting violations of laws or regulations, crimes, and cases of corruption or fraud, as well as situations that pose a threat to public health and safety. By using specific internal communication channels, employees or third parties of an organization (public or private) can report any illegal or fraudulent conduct of which they have become aware.

Decree No. 24/2023 introduced regulations on “whistleblowing” in Italy, which require companies to establish an internal reporting channel.

This measure, which implements European Directive 2019/1937, consolidates into a single regulatory text the entire framework governing whistleblowing channels and the protections afforded to whistleblowers in both the public and private sectors.

Luciano Trasporti srl has adapted to these changes and implemented this channel, while also safeguarding the confidentiality of anyone wishing to report unlawful conduct committed for the benefit of the company.
